The Centre is working in collaboration with the University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS) and 12 other organisations from across Europe to bring a multidisciplinary approach to understanding free movement of workers in Europe. The full title of the project is The Role of European Mobility and its Impacts in Narratives, Debates and European Union Reforms.

Cost-effectiveness of blindness prevention testing in India

The Centre is performing cost-effectiveness analysts of tests that could help prevent diabetes-related blindness in India, where an estimated 69 million people suffer from diabetes. This is part of a project led by Professor Sobha Sivaprasad, medical retina consultant at Moorfields and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, who has been awarded 6 million from the Global Challenges Research Fund to trial the new tests.
